If you are renewing Proton, know there are two different $3.99 bundles. One is for Mail customers, and one is for Drive customers.

To get the Mail offers, go to Proton Mail, and then click the “space usage” stats in the lower left corner.

To get the Drive offers, go to Proton Drive, and click the space usage stats in the lower left corner.

Here’s a peek at the two options:

Mail Plus gets you full featured mail, but only 15GB of total storage.

Drive Plus 200 gets you webmail-only, and 200GB of total storage.

I’m going to get the Mail Plus package, because my personal goals include:

• Reducing my online footprint, to avoid risks related to having data sitting on a server.
• Reducing how much I spend.
• Moving email off of the online platforms when possible.
